David G. Koch

Attorney and Counselor at Law

David Koch has over 20 years experience providing counsel to individuals and businesses with regard to tax resolution and estate planning. David is a Board Certified Taxation Specialist and a Board Certified Estate Planning and Administration Specialist. He has been designated an “AV” preeminent lawyer on Martindale-Hubbell and by Super Lawyers Magazine – both significant rating accomplishments and a testament that his peers rank him at the highest level of professional excellence.

David has served as the Secretary of the Louisiana State Bar Tax Law Advisory Commission. He has also served as the Chair of the Examination Committee for Board Certification in Taxation from 2006 to 2007. He is admitted to practice before the courts in Louisiana and the United States Tax Court. He has been a featured speaker on estate planning, Louisiana probate law, trusts, and federal taxation issues for Continuing Legal Education programs and professional organizations throughout Louisiana.

David was a member of the Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2000 and was named one of Baton Rouge’s “Top 40 under 40″ in 2004. He is an active member of Rotary, and St. Aloysius Church, and has previously served as the Board Chair of the Louisiana Resource Center for Educators and on the planned giving committees for Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area.

David was born in Beaumont, Texas. He graduated from Catholic High School of Baton Rouge in 1985 and received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 1989. David received his law degree from Louisiana State University in 1994 and received his LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University in 1995 where he graduated first in his class.

Michelle Lorio St. Martin

Michelle’s practice focuses on drafting wills, powers of attorney, living wills, trusts/special needs trusts, administration and litigation of successions. She works with clients in the qualification of Medicaid, social security and other governmental benefits, and assists in planning for nursing home or elder care.

Before joining the Koch Law Firm, Michelle practiced in civil litigation for over 20 years, concentrating on mass torts, toxic torts, class action defense, and insurance defense representing private entities such as Dow Chemical Co. and Shintech in Plaquemine, Louisiana. She has represented public entities, including Iberville and Lafourche Parishes. She has litigated a variety of cases, handling all areas of the legal process, conducting and attending all pre-trial (depositions, court hearings, and conferences) and trial matters. She has participated in mediation and dispute resolution matters, and brings a unique perspective to the firm in resolving disputes and working towards an equitable resolution for the firm’s clients.

Michelle was born in New Orleans, Louisiana but grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy. She attended Louisiana State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree and juris doctorate in 1991. She served as a volunteer in the Baton Rouge community, and has served on the Board and President for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). An avid tennis player, Michelle served on the Board and President of Bocage Racquet Club. She is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar.

Riley E. Frank

Attorney and Counselor at Law

Riley’s practice focuses on estate planning, successions, wills, powers of attorney, living wills, trusts, and tax resolution.

Riley is a native of Slidell, Louisiana in St. Tammany Parish. Prior to attending law school, she graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Management. In 2020, she obtained her Juris Doctorate and Degree in Comparative Law from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center.  During law school Riley was elected to The Order of the Barristers.  Additionally, she served on the Board of Advocates and participated in several Dispute Resolution Competitions.
